The knife isn't too heavy, weighing in at just under 12 ounces, this knife is easy to handle. Overall length is 10.59" with the blade being 4.84." There are 3 holes thru the handle, and can be used for lashing the knife to a stick to make a spear. The back of the handle has a flat spot, then tapers; used for breaking glass panes, or as a hammer.
The Gerber LMF™ II Infantry can be worn several ways. You can wear it on a belt and thigh, on your or calf, or wear it on a Molle vest.

Very high hardness;
Good corrosion resistance;
Very good wear resistance;
Used as a survival knife and I am very impressed with this knife. The best on a market for pilots I reckon
